Author Guidelines
A manuscript submitted to Sustainable Infrastructure and Environment (SIE) journal should follow Anoa Digital Publishing template. The template should considers the manuscript structure.
1. Submission Requirements
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original work not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
- File Format: Please submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word (.docx).
- Language: Submissions must be in clear, grammatical English. Authors who are non-native speakers are encouraged to use a professional editing service prior to submission.
2. Manuscript Structure
To maintain consistency, please organize your manuscript in the following order:
- Title Page: Full title, all author names, affiliations, and the email of the corresponding author.
- Abstract: Summarizing the background, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: 3–5 keywords for indexing purposes.
- Introduction : State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background.
- Methods: Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced.
- Results: Clear and concise presentation of the findings.
- Discussion: Explore the significance of the results; do not repeat them.
- Conclusion: The main conclusions of the study.
3. Formatting Style
- Typography: Use a standard 10-point font (e.g., Palatino Linotype) following the provided template.
- Headings: Use no more than three levels of headings.
- Mathematical Notation: Use complex equations. Simple variables should be italicized in the text.
- Citations: We follow the IEEE style. Ensure every reference cited in the text is present in the reference list and vice versa.
4. Figures and Tables
- Figures: Must be high-resolution (minimum 150 dpi) in JPG or JPEG format. We do not accept a figure from screenshots.
- Tables: Should be editable (not images) and include a descriptive title above the table.
- Permissions: Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to reuse any previously published materials.
5. Ethical Declarations
Every manuscript must include the following statements before the Reference list:
- Funding Statement: Disclose all sources of financial support.
- Conflict of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts or state "The authors declare no conflict of interest."
- Informed Consent: For studies involving human subjects, include a statement confirming that informed consent was obtained.
- Data Availability: State where the underlying data can be accessed (e.g., a public repository or available upon request).
- Declaration of Generative AI in Scientific Writing: "The authors acknowledge the use of [Name of AI Tool/Agent] solely for the purpose of improving the English language, grammar, and overall readability of the text. The GenAI was not used to analyze data, generate original research findings, or interpret figures and tables. The final manuscript has been reviewed and approved by all human authors, who take full responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the content."
